Stress-Free Living | Professional Maid Services
62
For over a decade, I’ve used the same maid to clean my home every week. While it may seem overindulgent, it’s the one form of pampering I can’t live without. Back in the day (i.e. 20 years ago), having a maid was a luxury reserved only for the rich. But these days, maid services are affordable and especially beneficial for those who maintain busy schedules.
I recognize that my situation is an exception—that having the same maid for over 10 years is not typical. But I am a firm believer that every homeowner should hire a cleaning service on a regular basis.
1) Save time & money – You may not have time to meticulously clean your home during the week, but you also like to spend quality time with family and friends on the weekends. Not only will hiring a maid save you tons of time and free up your already-busy schedule, but you won’t have to buy cleaning products as often because the maid service provides them.
2) Pamper yourself – Just as you splurge every once in awhile on a manicure or pedicure, spoil yourself by hiring a maid. The moment you open the door to a spotless home, you’ll be hooked!
3) Stress less – Enlisting the help of a maid will reduce the pressure of having to constantly clean up. You’d be surprised how weighed down you feel when your house is always messy.
4) Take up a hobby – Similar to saving time, maid services ease up your schedule so you can engage in a hobby. Imagine not having to look at piles of unfolded laundry on your couches, and think about how amazing it’ll feel to have someone else wash your linens. Go golfing; grow a garden or run at the park—whatever you choose to do, just make sure it’s fun!
5) A greener home, a better Earth – When it comes to hiring a professional maid service, do your homework. Companies that only use organic cleaning products may be hard to come by, but it’s definitely worth the research. It’s important that you do your part by contributing to a healthy environment, and the maid service you hire is no exception.
Now that you’re armed with five great reasons to hire a maid service, start improving your quality of life by no longer worrying about your cluttered home.

I can't afford a maid, but I can see the advantages of those you mentioned here.
Great timing, I stumbled upon this hub. It really is a stress when there's no maid in the house. I'm still looking for a household help. I had one but worked only for one month.
Nice hub! Thanks
In India, we are accustomed to noy one but many maids specially in all urban areas!!
I used to have 1 or 2 maids back in the Philippines where labor costs cheap. It's really a big help and less stress. Maybe I can hire maid service here once in a while only, not regularly. Thanks for the nice hub.
Great lists! Bringing in a professional to clean everything can have other benefits than just time. Not only are they going to do the crap that you don’t want to do, they’ll do it better! Having a maid services to clean your home is such a relief when you don’t have to worry about the cleaning yourself.

This truly makes so much sense. I read that in many cultures that we as Americans consider poor, the so-called average person often has a maid. If some members of that society are doing even slightly-well they are supposed to spread the wealth and hire household help.
Some years ago I was exhausted when I was working a midnight shift - and then I had pets and living in an apartment where I couldn't have a washer-dryer, I hired a young woman once a week for just a few hours and called her my assistant - because I needed someone to go to the post office, to drop off or pick up laundry, to give my cats a good brushing and so on. What a relief!
This needs to be a standard way of thinking and once a week - even just p/t - it is so worth it.
Thanks for reminding us that we shouldn't try to do it all and we should learn to delegate - and have priorities!
